Well, that was a blast!

When we first got to know that we were one of the five finalists for Tech Junkie of the Year in Globe’s TATT Awards for 2012, we didn’t really know what we were expected to do. But once the list of finalists became official and online voting started, we all got in the mood for some serious social network campaigning, reaching out to friends on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and the different forums.

And we were overwhelmed by the support. To everyone who voted for us, sent words of encouragement, retweeted and reposted and shared the links and announcements, our sincerest thanks.

Online voting is only 10% of the criteria, so it’s really in the hands of the TATT Awards Council. We know we have an awesome site, and that’s in large part because of the awesome community of readers. Whether we win or lose — we’ll find out on June 29 — we feel like winners already because of how you, our readers, responded to this campaign.
