Nathan Edwards of The Wirecutter has a brief, objective, and, balanced assessment of Samsung's new Galaxy S4, devoid of marketing and PR lingo and dismissive ranting. If you want a quick and fair assessment of the new phone to help you decide whether to get one or not, go and read this piece. Here's an excerpt:
The Galaxy S 4 is like the Galaxy S III but more so, and like the S III you'll have to decide if the removable battery and microSD slot are worth the plasticky build quality, and whether the huge amount of Samsung add-in software actually matters to you. In general we’re not fans of the “more is more” approach; we prefer the “do it right” approach. But Samsung mostly pulled it off with the Galaxy S III so we’ll give them some benefit of the doubt.
