Trend Micro Titanium Cloud Edition Maximum Security 2012: Protection for your PC, Android device
Trend Micro’s got a new antivirus package out now, and in keeping up with the times, has some nifty new features for the modern day PC user.
Called the Trend Micro Titanium Cloud Edition Maximum Security 2012, this newest offering from the company who’s made a name for themselves in the antivirus scene kids you not when it says it provides Maximum Security. This one actually also monitors the links on your Facebook wall and Twitter feed to protect you from malware and phishing attacks from the new breeding ground of security threats, the social web.
And since Android has also become a viable source of malware, Trend Micro’s bundled this one with an app that’ll scan for unsafe and malicious apps too on your mobile device. Plus, in case you – knock on wood – lose your device, you can remotely lock and/or wipe its contest if finding it through this app’s help doesn’t prove to be fruitful.
Oh, and did we mention this comes with cloud storage too? The Cloud Edition in its name should have been a dead giveaway already. Anyway, in case it wasn’t obvious enough, yes, this also boasts of SafeSync, TrendMicro’s cloud solution for their customers. With this, you can sync and backup your files from and to your mobile device and PC/Mac computer. You get 10GB of free cloud storage with this baby.
Now, on to the most important part – pricing. How much does Trend Micro Titanium Cloud Edition Maximum Security 2012 cost?
Sadly, we don’t know yet. I’ve checked out the local software stores and can’t find this one anywhere. But taking a cue from Trend Micro’s past offerings, this one should cost around Php3,000, if not lower.
Anyway, we’ll update you guys once we finally get the price for Trend Micro’s newest offering.
