Twitter for Android just got updated to version 2.1.0, and comes with two new features that’ll level up your Twitter life on the go – push notifications and multiple accounts support.

With push notifications, Android users can now receive instant updates for Tweets, @Mentions, and Direct Messages. To activate this, just go to your account settings, and select Automatic Refresh.

Multiple accounts, I guess, is pretty much self-explanatory. If you’re the type who maintains two or more Twitter accounts, you can log into all your accounts on your Android phone, and easily switch to and from each account without ever having to log out.

Apart from these two, Twitter for Android also got a slight design makeover for the homescreen widgets.
