Yep, not only is there a jailbreak for iOS 6 already (albeit very restricted at this point in time), but the iPhone 5, the newest and literally the biggest iPhone to date, has already been jailbroken as well.
Chpwn sent out this screenshot as tease of the jailbreak over on Twitter, and later on also confirmed the iPhone 5 jailbreak in an inquiry.
Of course, this is, by no means, no assurance the iPhone 5 jailbreak is just around the corner.
That said, this is still a good sign on the progress of the iPhone 5 jailbreak. They’ve at least managed to jailbreak the iPhone 5, which is actually the most important part. The next part now is to package it into a user-friendly jailbreak tool for us consumers to enjoy.
No telling when that will happen, but if things went as smoothly as the initial iPhone 5 jailbreak, the public version of the iPhone 5 jailbreak might even land in our laps well before the iPhone 5 does in Philippine stores.
