There was one important tidbit we forgot to add in the Galaxy Note 2 render post – the source also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S III Jelly Bean update will be released on August 29, during the launch of the new Note.
And this video showcasing the Galaxy S III running on Android 4.1 serves to confirm that Jelly Bean for Sammy’s current flagship ‘droid is indeed ready for primetime:

As expected, you can hardly tell the diff between Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean on the Galaxy S III from the UI standpoint.
But hey, whatever it lacks in aesthetics, I’m sure a healthy dose Project Butter can more than make up for it.
