View iOS notifications on your Mac courtesy of GrowlNotifier (Jailbreak required)

For you iPhone/iPad/iPod touch users out there, what do you do when you receive a notification?

Look at your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch? Thought so.

But here’s some trivia for ‘yah – if you jailbreak it and own a Mac, you can actually view all your iOS notifications straight from your Mac.

First, you need Growl installed on your Mac. Most of you probably have this popular Mac notification app already. If you don’t, you can get it from the Growl website.

Next, and the most important one, you need the GrowlNotifier app. Just search for it in Cydia. Note, you do need to have iOS 5 installed to run this, but the good news is this app’s completely free to download.

Once you’ve got both and installed ‘em, all you need to do now is configure everything.

Here’s a video demoing this nifty jailbreak app, which also pretty much shows you how to setup Growl on your Mac and GrowlNotifier on your iOS device:

Neat, huh?
