Solid state drives, more popularly referred to simply as SSD, are fast and snappy. SSDs are also slimmer too, making them the ideal choice for today’s ultrabooks.

But the one thing that traditional hard drives (HDD) are still better at is offering more storage per buck.

So what’s one to do if one wants to trick out an ultraportable with more onboard storage?
