After a long, long, loooong wait; Western Digital finally now has a local service where customers can course their troubled WD hardware for repair.

Being one of the leading brands locally in the hard drive scene, it’s just fitting that Western Digital opens a service center in the country. Not only will they be able to now address issues faster, but this will also help assure their existing and future clients that they won’t be left high and dry when something happens to their WD purchase.

So, where is this magical WD service center located?

The Philippine’s first official Western Digital service center can be found at 2111 Chino Roces avenue corner Urban Avenue, Makati City.

It’s run by ServCare Solutions, and they don’t only provide repair. They also process RMA (aka replacement) requests too. If they’ve got a unit in stock, they’ll replace it on the spot. That is, of course, if it’s still under warranty and it came from an authorized local dealer.

Yes to both? Then pay them a visit now so you can get your faulty WDD device replaced with a new one.

WD® ENHANCES CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE PHILIPPINES WITH NEW SERVICE CENTER
Dedicated Facility Strengthens Distribution and End Customer Service in Country

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – WD®, a worldwide storage leader, today announced the official opening of the service center in the Philippines to further strengthen distribution to end-user support and to provide speedy RMA service assistance. WD’s first service center in the country will cater to all customers of WD internal hard drives, external storage devices and home entertainment products.

Located in 2111 Chino Roces avenue corner Urban Avenue, Makati City, WD Service Center will be opened from 8 am to 5 pm on Monday, 8 am to 6 pm Tuesday to Friday, and 8 am to 12 noon on Saturday. The WD Service Center will be closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Beginning August 1, 2012, customers will be able to bring their in-warranty drives to WD Service Center and receive their replacement drive immediately. If the required model is not available, WD Service Center representatives will contact customers for collection of their replacement drives once ready. This warranty service is available on all WD products sold through WD authorized distribution channels in the Philippines.
