Windows 8-powered Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 now Official, Coming in October
When Windows 8 officially rolls out later this year, here’s one of the tablets that’ll be leading the Windows 8 parade – the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2.
This 9.8mm-thin 10-incher boasts of a 1366×768 resolution IPS display, an 8-megapixel main cam and 2-megapixel cam combo, NFC support, micro-HDMI port, pen, and here’s where it gets a little bit more interesting, an Intel Atom processor under the hood, a fingerprint reader, an onboard USB port, and 10-hours of battery life.
Lenovo will also be outing an optional keyboard accessory for this baby, including a dock, which sports three USB ports, an Ethernet port, and HDMI out.
Price?
Ah, that’s one crucial piece of the puzzle still missing here, along with country availability info.
It is, however, confirmed for an October release. So in the meantime, we leave you with this hands-on video courtesy of Engadget while we wait for additional info on this bad boy:

no thanks, I’m waiting for samsung’s upcoming tablet that will a a greater resolution than the new ipad or ipad 3.
Looks solid. I wonder how much it weighs. The new iPad is too heavy to just hold in one hand for a long time… or I just need to go back to the gym
