Windows Phone 7 may not have the numbers as far as sales go, but they did manage to beat Android in one number crunching tally, and one that’s pretty pro-consumer at that. A survey done by ChangeWave Research revealed that more Windows Phone 7 users are “Very Satisfied” with their handsets compared to Android users.
But yes, at the end of the day, it’s still sales that matter, and regardless of how satisfied people are with Microsoft’s revitalized Windows mobile operating system, if people aren’t buying Windows Phone 7 handsets, it’s all for naught.
This, however, should be encouraging news for MS as this is a clear sign they’re doing things right with Windows Phone 7, a stark comparison to their early attempts to salvage the Windows Mobile brand. With this survey, hopefully, and I’m pretty sure Microsoft is praying hard for this, people will finally see that Windows Phone 7 is indeed a serious Android and iOS rival, and one that should really be worth investing in.
How about you guys? Are you satisfied with your chosen mobile OS?
