No, that snapshot there isn’t official by any stretch of the imagination, but it could be very soon because HTC’s already sent out invites to a special event that they’ve scheduled for the 19th. And if our guess is right on the money, it will be for their maiden set of Windows Phone 8 goodies that they’ll be unveiling here.
This one, reportedly named the HTC 8X, could be one of ‘em.
Rumored specs of this upcoming WP 8 treat include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, an 8-megapixel AF camera with 1080p HF video recording capabilities, an ultra-wide angle front cam that supports 1080p HD recording, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and 16GB of onboard storage.
It’s not quite at par with their current Android flagship, the HTC One X but, for a Windows Phone, you’ve got to admit that it’s already pretty impressive.
And who knows, they might just have more than the 8X on the menu at the big party on the 19th.
For now, let’s get your thoughts in, guys. What’s your take on the unofficial HTC 8X - winner or snoozer?
