Aside from the HTC 8X, here are two more HTC Windows Phone 8 goodies that could take center stage on the 19th – the HTC 8V and HTC 8S.
The relationship of these Windows Phone 8 HTC phones is pretty much the same as with the One family, where the One X is the big bro of the trio, with the One S playing the role of the middle child and the One V the entry level ICS treat.
The HTC 8S is the smaller version of the 8X. It sports a slightly smaller 4.3-inch Super LCD display (vs 4.7-inch Super LCD2 on the 8X), a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor (vs 1.2Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4), the same 8-megapixel cam, and will be available in two variants – an 8GB model and a 16GB version.
The HTC 8V, meanwhile, dons a 4-inch display, with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor under the hood, supported by 512MB RAM, and a 5-megapixel cam for imagining while on the go.
And just in case it needs pointing out, this leak pretty much confirms the naming scheme for HTC’s Windows Phone 8 treats – they’ll all bear the 8 in its name.
But then again, this is all still unofficial.
For now, just treat this as a heads up as to what’s potentially in the pipeline, and if this is spot on, we’ll now have more than a handful of Windows Phone 8 smartphone to keep an eye out for, namely the Samsung ATIV 8, Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, and this HTC 8 trio.
