Windows Phone 8-powered Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 to feature wireless charging? Leak says YES!
We’re just hours away from the big Nokia-Microsoft event happening in NYC, and here’s an appetizer of what they could be unveiling at the big event.
Most of you have probably seen these leaked Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 press photos before, but what you might not know is that these two Windows Phone 8 devices will come with an added extra treat – wireless charging!
Wireless charging isn’t exactly something new. Palm tried to make it go mainstream with their Palm Pre and Touchstone charging dock, but it never really hit it big. Years later, wireless charging is getting a much deserved boost with the support of Espoo, and hopefully, this time around, it’ll not only become popular, but will, more importantly, become an industry standard too!

Moving along – a 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch HD touchscreen, an 8-megapixel PureView cam at the back, a 1.3-MP shooter on the front and 32GB of onboard storage round up the rumored specs of the Lumia 920.

As for the Lumia 820, it reportedly sports a slightly more modest 4.3-inch display, a Carl Zeiss-souped up cam at the back, aaand that’s pretty much it!
But hey, the launch is happening later in the day. So it won’t be long now before we get the official juicy deets on these new Lumia goodies.
