In their continuing quest to stamp their mark on the Philippine mobile phone market, ZTE’s just added a new ‘droid to their line-up – the ZTE Blade III.

This here’s a 1GHz Qualcomm-powered 4-incher with a 5-megapixel cam, 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM, DLNA support, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, WiFi, Ice Cream Sandwich as its OS, and a 1600mAh battery as its power source. It’s pretty much your typical mid-range Android, but get this, it isn’t priced as such.

SRP of the ZTE Blade III – believe it or not – is just Php8,990. Not bad, eh?

I’m just not sure if it’s readily available already for everyone’s buying pleasure. But in case it’s not, just treat this as a heads up: ZTE’s got a new Android coming that’s semi-heavy on the specs but easy on the pocket.
